Do Brown Thomas Gift Cards expire?

We offer customers the option to purchase physical gift cards and eGift cards.

Gift Cards do not have an expiry date and will remain valid for as long as there is a balance on them.

Valid Brown Thomas gift cards may only be used as full or part payment for goods in Arnotts and Brown Thomas stores, BT2 stores, as well as online at brownthomas.com and arnotts.ie.

Please Note

When a Gift Card is applied to an order, in the event that the order fails, a temporary freeze is then placed on the balance. This will last for 24 - 36hrs and the balance will then automatically revert to the Gift Card.

This is a security feature on the Gift Card which we are unable to override.

Please allow 24hrs from when you attempted to place the order before attempting to use the Gift Card again.
