Why is My Gift Card Balance Incorrect?

If you’re experiencing issues with your gift card balance, there could be a few reasons for the discrepancy. Here’s how to check your balance and resolve any issues:

1. Recent Transactions

  • It can take a few minutes for recent transactions to update on your gift card balance, particularly after online purchases. If you have recently used the card, please allow some time for the balance to reflect the transaction.

2. Partial Use of Gift Card

  • If you used your gift card for a partial payment, the remaining balance will still be available. Ensure you’re checking the correct remaining amount, as only the amount used will be deducted.

3. How to Check Your Gift Card Balance

  • To check your gift card balance online, please follow these steps:
    1. Log in to your Account.
    2. Proceed to the checkout page.
    3. Under Secure Payment, you will see the “Use a Gift Card” option.
    4. Select this option and input the long gift card number on the back of your card.
    5. Select Check Balance to view your available balance.

4. Multiple Gift Cards

  • If you have multiple gift cards, make sure you’re using the correct card number when checking the balance. Each card retains its own balance.

5. Contact Us for Support

  • If the balance still appears incorrect after verifying these steps, please contact our Customer Service team. We’ll investigate the issue and help correct any discrepancies.

  • Brown Thomas and Arnotts gift cards do not expire.
