Yes, you can return most items purchased online to a Brown Thomas store. Here’s what you need to know about returning your online order in-store:
1. Return Timeframe and Conditions
- Return Window: Online purchases must be returned within 21 days from the date you received your order.
- Saleable Condition: Items must be in their original packaging, unused, and in a saleable condition, with all tags intact.
- Responsibility for Goods: Brown Thomas Arnotts is not responsible for goods until they are successfully returned in their original packaging. It is your responsibility to ensure that items are properly packed and to obtain proof of postage and a tracking number from your chosen carrier or postal service.
Non-returnable items:
• unsealed, opened and worn items;
• made-to-measure, made-to-order, altered, or personalised;
• items that are not suitable for return for health protection and hygiene reasons, and which have been unsealed following delivery;
• all food items (including hampers);
• beauty products where packaging has been removed or unsealed;
• intimates, briefs, lingerie, underwear, swimwear, hosiery, and body contour apparel;
• bedding (including mattress protectors, duvets, duvet covers, sheets, pillows, pillowcases and pillow protectors);
• gift cards;
• seasonal products, Christmas decorations, and Christmas trees; and
• earrings and pierced jewellery; and

- General In-Store Returns: Most items purchased online can be returned to any Brown Thomas store.
- Brand-Specific Returns: Certain luxury items have specific return requirements:
- Items from Bottega Veneta, Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent, and Prada bags & accessories can only be returned to the Brown Thomas Dublin store.
- Jimmy Choo shoes & accessories are also only returnable at our Dublin store.
3. Required Documentation
- Bring your order confirmation email and dispatch invoice when returning items to the store. These documents help facilitate a smooth return process.
4. Refund Processing
- Original Payment Method: Refunds for eligible returns will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Gift Cards and Loyalty Points: If you used a gift card or loyalty points, the refund will be credited back to the respective source. If the original gift card is lost, please contact Customer Service for assistance in reissuing a new one.
5. Important Notes
- Promotional Items: If your order was part of a promotion, you must return all items included in the promotion, including any free gifts, to receive a full refund.
