How do I use my gift card or loyalty points online?

You can redeem a Brown Thomas or Arnotts gift card and Encore Loyalty points during checkout. Whether you’re using a physical card, an eGift card, or available loyalty credit, the process is quick and secure.

This article explains how to apply each option when shopping online.

Using a gift card online

1. Add your items to the basket and proceed to checkout

2. Under the Secure Payment section, select “Use a Gift Card”

3. Enter your gift card number (you’ll find this on the back of the card or in your eGift card email)

   • For physical gift cards, scratch the panel to reveal the final digits

4. Click “Check Balance” to confirm the available amount

5. Apply the balance to your order

6. If your card doesn’t cover the full amount, you can pay the remaining balance with another payment method

Using Encore Loyalty credit online

If you’re logged in and have loyalty credit available:

• You’ll see your Encore balance displayed during checkout

• Click “Redeem” to apply it to your order

• The credit will be deducted before you select a payment method

Important information

• Gift cards do not expire and can be used across multiple transactions

• Gift cards are issued in Euro but can be used online for products priced in EUR or GBP

• If a transaction fails after applying a gift card, the balance may be temporarily frozen for up to 36 hours. This is a normal security measure and the balance will reset automatically.
