Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

Once a Brown Thomas order is confirmed, it enters our fulfilment process immediately. Customers often ask, “Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?” Unfortunately, delivery addresses cannot be updated once the order has been confirmed. The only option may be to request a cancellation if your order has not yet reached a certain stage of fulfilment.

What you can do

1. Try to cancel the order

  • If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to cancel it.

  • Contact us as soon as possible using the Live Chat widget in the bottom right corner.

  • Have your order number ready for faster support.

  • If successful, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email. You can then place a new order with the correct details.


2. If your order has already been dispatched

  • The delivery address cannot be changed once the parcel is en route.

  • You can track your parcel using the link in your dispatch confirmation email.

  • Depending on the courier, you may be able to request a redelivery or collection directly with them.

  • If delivery is unsuccessful, the parcel will be returned to us and refunded in line with our Returns Policy.
