Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Once a Brown Thomas order is confirmed, it enters our fulfilment process immediately. Customers often ask, “Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?” Unfortunately, delivery addresses cannot be updated once the order has been confirmed. The only option may be to request a cancellation if your order has not yet reached a certain stage of fulfilment.
What you can do
1. Try to cancel the order
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to cancel it.
Contact us as soon as possible using the Live Chat widget in the bottom right corner.
Have your order number ready for faster support.
If successful, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email. You can then place a new order with the correct details.
2. If your order has already been dispatched
The delivery address cannot be changed once the parcel is en route.
You can track your parcel using the link in your dispatch confirmation email.
Depending on the courier, you may be able to request a redelivery or collection directly with them.
If delivery is unsuccessful, the parcel will be returned to us and refunded in line with our Returns Policy.
