Can I choose a delivery date or add delivery instructions?
Many customers ask, “Can I choose a delivery date or add delivery instructions to my order?” Once your Brown Thomas order is confirmed, we cannot manually adjust delivery preferences. However, depending on the delivery service selected at checkout, you may still have options available through the courier after dispatch.
What you can do
1. At checkout
Same Day Delivery (Select Locations Only) and Nominated Day Delivery (Select Locations Only) allow you to select your preferred delivery date and time when placing the order.
These options must be chosen at checkout, as we cannot add or change them later.
2. After dispatch: manage via courier
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a dispatch confirmation email with a tracking link.
Depending on the courier (DPD, An Post, DHL), you may be able to:
Choose a new delivery date.
Add safe place instructions.
Redirect to a collection point.
