How long will my refund take to process?

Refund times depend on the return method and your original payment method. This article explains how long it takes for your return to reach us, when your refund will be issued, and how soon it will appear in your account.

Online order refunds

  1. Delivery time for your return

    • Returns via An Post or DPD can take up to 14 days to reach us.

    • Please retain proof of postage and a tracking number until your return is confirmed.

  2. Refund processing time

    • Once received, your return is usually processed within 3 working days.

    • A confirmation email will be sent once your refund is issued.

  3. When the refund appears in your account

    • After processing, it may take a further 3–5 working days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

  4. Where your refund goes

    • Refunds are always issued back to the original payment method:

      • Card payments – refunded to the same credit or debit card.

      • Gift cards – refunded to the same card. If lost, we can assist with reissuing the balance.

      • Encore Loyalty points – returned to your loyalty account.

      • Split payments – refunded proportionally to each method used.

In-store refunds

  1. Refunds at the till

    • If you return an item in-store, eligible refunds are processed immediately.

  2. Card refund times

    • Please allow 3–5 working days for card refunds to appear in your account.

  3. Gift card and loyalty refunds

    • Gift card refunds go back to the same card used.

    • Loyalty points will be returned to your Encore account.
