How will I receive my refund?
When your return is processed, your refund will be issued back to the original payment method used at checkout. This article explains how your refund is handled based on how you paid.
Refunds to cards

Credit or debit card refunds will be credited directly back to the same card.

Once processed, it may take 3–5 working days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.
Refunds to gift cards

If you used a Brown Thomas gift card, the refund will be credited back to that card.

If you no longer have the original gift card, please contact our Customer Service team. We can arrange to reissue the refunded balance onto a new card.
Refunds to Encore Loyalty points

If you used Encore Loyalty points for part or all of your purchase, the refunded points will be returned to your loyalty account.

You can check your loyalty balance anytime in the App or on our website under "My Loyalty".
Split payment refunds

If you used a combination of payment methods (e.g., card and gift card), each part will be refunded back to its original source.

The card portion will return to your credit or debit card.

The gift card portion will return to your Brown Thomas gift card.

PayPal refunds (if applicable)

If you paid with PayPal, the refund will be credited back to your PayPal account.

Important notes

Refunds may take longer to appear during peak times or depending on your payment provider.

We recommend keeping your gift card until your return and refund are fully completed, even if used only partly at the time of purchase.
