What happens if I used a gift card or loyalty points?
If you used a gift card or Encore Loyalty points towards your purchase, your refund will be processed back to the original method of payment wherever possible. This article explains how gift card and loyalty point refunds are handled to ensure a smooth experience.
Refunds for gift card purchases

If you used a Brown Thomas gift card for part or all of your payment, the refunded amount will be credited back to the same gift card.

Please retain your gift card until your return is fully processed, as it will be required for refund purposes.

If you no longer have the original gift card, please contact our Customer Service team, who can assist you in reissuing a new card.
Refunds for loyalty point payments

If you used Encore Loyalty points towards your purchase, any applicable refund will see the points credited back to your loyalty account.

Points cannot be refunded as cash.

You can track your updated points balance by logging into your account online or through the Brown Thomas app under "My Loyalty."
Mixed payment refunds

If your order was paid for using a combination of gift card, loyalty points, and a credit or debit card, the refund will be split across these methods accordingly:

Loyalty points will be restored to your Encore Loyalty account.

Gift card refunds will be reissued to the original or a new gift card.

Any remaining balance will be refunded to your credit or debit card.
