Gift card number marked invalid: what to check

If your gift card number is being marked as invalid, there are a few common checks that can help resolve the issue quickly. Follow the steps below.
What to check
Make sure the final 4 digits of the gift card number are visible by scratching off the panel on the back of the card. Then enter the full gift card number as one continuous sequence of digits, without spaces or other characters.
If the card has been used more than once
If you have tried to use the card more than once, it may be temporarily frozen for 24 to 36 hours. Please wait and try again after this period has passed.
If the issue continues
If the gift card is still marked as invalid after checking the number format and waiting for any temporary freeze to clear, please provide the full card number and your telephone number so we can investigate further.
