How do I request a refund?
You can request a refund for eligible items purchased online or in-store, provided they meet the return criteria. This article explains how to prepare your return and ensure your refund is processed correctly.
Requesting a refund for an online purchase

Prepare your item

Ensure the item is in its original packaging, unused, with all tags attached and in a saleable condition.

Complete the returns form

Use the returns form included with your delivery. Indicate which item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.

Return your item

You may return online orders by post or in-store:

By post: Visit An Post Returns or DPD Returns depending on your location.

In-store: Bring your dispatch invoice and order confirmation email to a Brown Thomas store (brand exclusions apply).

Postage fees

Postal returns from the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland will incur a €4.95 fee, paid directly to the carrier. This amount is not deducted from your refund.

Refund confirmation

Once your return is received and processed (within 14 days), we will send you a confirmation email. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Bring your item and the original receipt to any Brown Thomas store within the eligible time period:

Full-priced items: Refund available within 14 days of purchase.

Reduced-price items: Exchange only within 14 days; refunds not offered.
