How do I return my order?
If you’re asking, “How do I return my Brown Thomas order?” there are several convenient options depending on where you are based. Returns are accepted within 21 days of receiving your order, provided items are unused, in original packaging, and in a saleable condition.
Returning an online order – Republic of Ireland
- Option 1. Return An Online Order Via Post
- • Step 1 Insert item(s) in original packaging and secure with tape.
- • Step 2 Go to our Returns Portal and follow the simple instructions.
- • Step 3 You will have the option to either print a returns label or schedule a pickup where the label will be provided by An Post upon collection.
- • Step 4 You will receive a confirmation email from us upon receipt of your package and when your refund has been processed. Please note it may take up to 14 days for your items to reach us.
- Availing of the above service allows you to return a package up to 20kg at a preferential rate.
- Option 2. Return Items To Store
- Online purchases can be returned to any Brown Thomas or Arnotts store within 21 days from when you received your order and be in a saleable condition along with the order confirmation email, with the exclusion of the following brands which can only be returned to Brown Thomas Grafton Street: Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent, Prada (bags and accessories), Jimmy Choo (shoes and accessories).
Returning an online order – Northern Ireland

• Step 1 Pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure safe transit.
• Step 2 Go to DPD.ie/returns and follow the simple instructions on how to return your item(s). Please note, if you are returning an electrical item you should select the ‘Brown Thomas Electrical’ option. Fill out your details and print off the label and present the parcel at your local DPD drop off location. Your parcel will be returned to Brown Thomas via the DPD network and you’ll have full tracking throughout the delivery journey.

Returning an online order – outside the island of Ireland
Customers are responsible for arranging their own tracked courier service.
Cover all return shipping costs and retain tracking details.
Brown Thomas is not responsible for parcels until they arrive at our returns facility.
Returning an in-store purchase
Full-priced items: Refund available within 14 days or exchange within 28 days.
Reduced-price items: Eligible for exchange only within 14 days.
Items must be unused, in original packaging, and with tags attached.
Present the original receipt or a digital receipt from the Brown Thomas App.
Gift receipts entitle the holder to an exchange only.
Important notes
Certain categories cannot be returned, including opened beauty items, personalised goods, underwear, earrings, gift cards, and seasonal products.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method once the return has been inspected.
Always retain proof of postage and tracking details when returning by carrier.
