Can I return an online purchase in-store?

If you’re wondering, “Can I return a Brown Thomas online order in-store?” the answer is yes. Online purchases can be returned to any Brown Thomas store within 21 days of receiving your order, provided items meet our returns criteria.


How to return an online purchase in-store

  • Online purchases
    These must be returned within a 21 days from when you received your order and be in a saleable condition. You may return most items purchased online to any of our Brown Thomas stores along with the order confirmation email. Kindly note Bottega Veneta, Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent plus Prada bags & accessories and Jimmy Choo shoes & accessories can only be returned to our Dublin store. Brown Thomas Arnotts shall not be responsible for any goods until such goods have been successfully returned to Brown Thomas Arnotts in their original packaging. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are properly packed and that you receive proof of postage and tracking number from your chosen carrier or postal service.
     
  • Items purchased in-store
    These may be returned within 14 days. Please note merchandise must be accompanied by an original receipt or a digital receipt on the Brown Thomas App. Refunds are issued to the original method of payment. A gift receipt is not an original receipt. Reduced price merchandise may only be exchanged.

    Brown Thomas Arnotts shall not be responsible for goods until such goods have been successfully returned to Brown Thomas Arnotts in their original packaging.

Important brand exclusions

Certain brands have specific return requirements and must be returned only to Brown Thomas Dublin, Grafton Street. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Bottega Veneta

  • Christian Louboutin

  • Saint Laurent

  • Prada (bags and accessories)

  • Jimmy Choo (shoes and accessories)


Non-returnable items

Some items cannot be returned, even if purchased online. These include:

  • Personalised or made-to-order items

  • Opened beauty or hygiene products

  • Intimates, lingerie, swimwear, hosiery, and shapewear

  • Bedding such as duvets, sheets, or pillows

  • Food items and hampers

  • Earrings and pierced jewellery

  • Gift cards

  • Seasonal items such as Christmas decorations and trees

  • Paper carrier bags
