How do I get a return label?

This article explains how to obtain a return label when sending your Brown Thomas online order back by post. You can either print your own label in advance or request a label when scheduling a collection, depending on your needs.

Getting a return label in the Republic of Ireland

To generate a return label via An Post:

1. Visit An Post Returns

   • Go to An Post Returns.

2. Select the correct retailer

   • Choose 'Brown Thomas' from the retailer list.
     (If you are returning an electrical item, select 'Brown Thomas Electrical.')

3. Choose your preferred option

   • Print your own label to drop off your return at any An Post location; or

   • Schedule a home collection, where the An Post driver will bring a return label at the time of collection.

4. Secure your return

   • Attach the label securely to your parcel before drop-off or handover.

   • Retain your proof of postage and tracking number.

Getting a return label in Northern Ireland

To generate a return label via DPD:

1. Visit DPD Returns

   • Go to DPD Returns.

2. Select the correct retailer

   • Choose 'Brown Thomas' or 'Brown Thomas Electrical' depending on your product.

3. Print your label

   • Complete the details requested and print your return label.

   • Attach the label securely to your parcel and drop it off at a local DPD point.

4. Track your return

   • Retain your proof of postage and tracking information until your refund is confirmed.

• Return fee:
  A postage fee of €4.95 (Republic of Ireland) or £4.95 (Northern Ireland) applies, payable directly to the carrier. It is not deducted from your refund.

• Packaging requirements:
  Items must be returned securely packaged, preferably in the original packaging, and accompanied by the returns form.
