Can I arrange a collection for my return?

If you are based in the Republic of Ireland, you can arrange a collection for your Brown Thomas online return through An Post. This service provides the convenience of having your parcel collected from your chosen address rather than visiting a drop-off location.

How to arrange a collection via An Post

To schedule a return collection:

1. Visit An Post Returns

   • Go to An Post Returns.

2. Select the correct retailer

   • Choose 'Brown Thomas' from the list of retailers.
     (If returning an electrical item, select 'Brown Thomas Electrical.')

3. Choose 'Schedule a Collection'

   • When prompted, select the option to arrange a collection at your address.

   • A postal carrier will bring a return label at the time of collection if you have not printed one yourself.

4. Prepare your parcel

   • Ensure the item is securely packed in its original packaging where possible.

   • Include the completed returns form inside the parcel.

5. Hand over your return

   • When the An Post representative arrives, hand over your sealed parcel.

6. Retain proof of collection

   • Obtain and retain your proof of postage and tracking number.

• Collection fee:
  A collection return fee of €4.95 applies. This is payable directly to An Post and is not deducted from your refund.

• Availability:
  Collection is available for returns within the Republic of Ireland only. Customers in Northern Ireland can return parcels via DPD drop-off locations but cannot schedule collections.

• Packaging standards:
  Items must be returned securely packaged and in saleable condition to ensure a smooth refund process.

• Processing times:
  Returns may take up to 14 days to reach us and be processed. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been completed.
